In the past, this gong was an editor’s choice award. For the first time in the history of the Channel Middle East Awards, it has been decided that recipients of this award should nominate themselves for demonstrating exemplary commitment and leadership to improving the welfare of all channel partners and the IT industry in the Middle East and North Africa. The award goes to the vendor that has made a noteworthy contribution to the development, growrh and commitment to growing the mobile devices and wearables in the retail sector, independent retailers and traditional dealer channel in the Middle East.
This award recognises the IT and consumer electronics retailer that has done the most to build the quality of retail experience and customer relations in the region. The award is open to all consumer electronics retailers that have made great strides in increasing presence in key markets across the region.

The category is open to vendors selling any form of SMB software and business applications (e.g. Office, ERP, CRM, security software, accounting packages, HR & financial modules, storage management, IT management software).
The Systems Hardware Vendor of the Year will be presented to the vendor that has demonstrated a commitment to driving channel growth through their business development activities, partner initiatives, product range and support. This category includes all types of systems hardware not included in any other category (e.g. PCs, notebooks, servers, displays, security/storage appliances).
System integrator awards honour excellence and innovation in the delivery of IT solutions to end-user customers in the enterprise or SMB segment.
The award recognises an authorised IT training provider that is advancing skills development in the regional channel and IT industry. In addition, the award pays tribute to the provider’s commitment in helping the broader IT sector with quality (online and instructor-led classroom style) training programmes.
This award will go to the company that has achieved excellence in providing value added services. The award is open to all VADs that have made a noteworthy contribution to the channel, be it through their product specialisation, technical capabilities, reseller services, market development assistance or any other action that warrants recognition.
