The majority of the project work should have been brought to completion between April 2012 and April 2013. The award will be presented to an organisation dedicated to the ongoing promotion of education and training initiatives and information dissemination vital to the ongoing development of the industry.
The award for Facilities Manager of the Year will go to the person that has made an important contribution to the FM industry between April 2012 and April 2013. The award for Green FM Company of the Year will go to the company which has delivered the best green initiative in the GCC on projects over the past 12-month period. The green company of the year will demonstrate the most holistic, solution-specific and customer-driven approach to sustainability in terms of cost-effectiveness, efficiency and technological development. This company will exhibit a demonstrable commitment to continued excellence in the FM industry's approach to achieving its environmental goals.
The award for Health and Safety Initiative of the Year will go to the company, operating in the FM sector, which has delivered the best health and safety initiative in the GCC. The health and safety initiative must have been active in the GCC between April 2012 and 11th April 2013. The award for Young Facilities Manager of the Year will go to the person that has made an important contribution to the FM industry between April 2012 and April 2013. Open to facilities managers aged 35 and under who have added value and actively contributed to a successful facilities management operation in any sector over the past 12 months. Evidence needed: Proof of age and evidence detailing the contribution(s) made to the company during the last 12 months.
