The majority of the project work should have been brought to completion in the last 12-months.

The award for Construction Executive of the Year will go to the senior executive who can demonstrate the greatest impact on his or her construction-related business in the last 12-month period. The winning executive could be a general manager, managing director, related deputy, or someone from a ‘C’ suite role. Their company may be operating in any part of the construction chain, from suppliers through sub-contractors, consultants and main contractors.

The award for Consultancy of the Year will go to the company that can demonstrate the best record of delivering innovative, original and consistent expertise on projects over the last 12-month period.

The award for Contractor of the Year will go to the company that can demonstrate the best record of progress and delivery for its clients, while maintaining an exemplary HSE record and showing signs of commercial strength and growth over the last 12-month period.

The award for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year will go to the company, operating in the construction sector, which can demonstrate the best active CSR programme, one that contributes to the welfare of local communities, to the development of the company’s employees and the enhancement of the company’s reputation. The CSR initiative must have been active in the GCC in the last 12-months.

The award for Engineer of the Year will go to the engineer who can demonstrate the greatest impact on his or her construction-related business in the last 12-month period. The winning engineer could be working in any part of the construction chain, from suppliers through sub-contractors, consultants and main contractors.

The award for Health and Safety Initiative of the Year will go to the company, operating in the construction sector, which has delivered the best health and safety initiative in the GCC. The winning initiative will make a positive contribution to the advance of health and safety consciousness in construction, while also demonstrating clear practical applications and results. The health and safety initiative must have been active in the last 12-months period.

The winning initiative will make a positive contribution to the advance of environmental considerations in construction, while also demonstrating clear practical applications.
